4.3 Rotating Transmitter Section
The transmitter section can be rotated
approximately 360° and can be fixed at any angle
within the above range. (The direction of the
rotation is depending on the configuration of the
instrument.)
Note that there is a stopper which prevents the
transmitter section from being rotated more than
360°.
1) Remove the two setscrews that fasten the
transmitter section and capsule assembly,
using the Allen wrench.
2) Rotate the transmitter section slowly and stop it
at designated position. For the EJ
530
and
EJX630A whose capsule code is A, B or C, the
pipe of the atmospheric opening may interfere
with the stopper and disturb further rotation.
In that case, screw off the pipe first, rotate the
housing, and then screw in the pipe by hand
again.
3) Tighten the two setscrews to a torque of
1.5 N·m.
WARNING
In the case of the explosion-proof/flameproof
type transmitter, do not rotate the transmitter
part in the hazardous area while the transmitter
is energized.
IMPORTANT
Do not rotate the transmitter section more than
the above limit.

Integral Indicator
IMPORTANT
Always turn OFF power, release pressure and
remove a transmitter to non-hazardous area
before disassembling and reassmbling an
indicator.
An integral indicator can be installed in the
following three directions. Follow the instructions in
section 8.4 for removing and attaching the integral
indicator.
