page appears in the
Display
pane, as shown below.
The
Status
page displays the following gauges, which enable you to monitor
security activity:
Risk Level
— displays your current security risk level, based on the
Gatekeeper Pico analysis of all firewall, IDS/IPS, and malware security
events.
Firewall Events
— displays the number of attempted firewall attacks that took
place over the last 15 minutes.
IDS/IPS Events
— displays the number of attempted security breaches
detected and defeated by the Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion
Protection System (IDS/IPS) over the last 15 minutes.
Malware Events
— displays the number of virus, spyware, active content, and
other similar execution attempts that took place over the last 15 minutes.
The digital gauges (event counters) under each event gauge display the total of
each type of security breach attempt. The number displayed is the number of
attempts since the last reset. For information about resetting the event counters,
see “Reset Options.”
