Additional information
After about 5 minutes of inactivity, the device will turn into standby mode automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Cut off power source and let the coffee maker cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Clean housing of coffee maker with moisture-proof sponge often and clean water tank, drip tray and
removable shelf regularly then dry them.
Note:
Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse the housing in water for cleaning.
3. Detach the metal funnel by turning it to the left, get rid of coffee residue inside, then you can clean it
with cleanser, but at last you must rinse with clear water. Do not wash the metal funnel in a
dishwasher.
4. Clean all the attachments in the water and dry thoroughly.
Note:
Clean the appliance after every use in order to make it work properly.
CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS
1. To ensure your coffee maker can operate efficiently, internal piping is clean and the peak flavor of
coffee, you should clean away the mineral deposits left regularly every 1-2 months and whenever you
notice the build-up of scale, even if you use filtered water or a water conditioning station.
2. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level (the proportion of water and descaler is 4:1,
details refers to the instruction of descaler)
. Please use “household descaler”, you can use the citric
acid instead of the descaler (one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
3. Set the appropriate container under the porta-filter, the hot water outlet nozzle and the steam wand.
4. Turn on the device, make sure that the steam knob is at
“O” position and wait until the heating indicator
turns blue.
5. Press
, water will flow out of the porta-filter for 60 seconds, and then water will flow out from the
hot water outlet nozzle for 60 seconds.
6. Press
and wait until the steam indicator stops blinking.
7. turn the steam knob slowly in anticlockwise and release steam until there is no water with descaler in
the water tank. Set the steam knob at
“O” position and press
again.
8. Empty the water tank and fill it with cold, clear water to the MAX. Then insert it into the coffee maker.
9. When the heating indicator turns blue, repeat steps 5 to 7 twice to flush out any remaining residues
from the descaling process.
