You can enable the keypad light to make the keypad light up when any key is pressed. 
This helps you distinguish keys from each other in a dark environment. 

To configure keypad light via CommPortal phone configurator: 

1.

 

Click on Preferences->Display. 

2.

 

Mark the desired radio box of the keypad Light Enable field. 

 

3.

 

Click Save changes to accept the change. 

4.
