Recommendations for device use
Warning! The pump is only intended to pump engine oil or water. Pumping other substances
is forbidden. In particular, do not use the pump to transfer: fuel (petrol, diesel, liquid gas) or
other fl ammable liquids – risk of explosion; transmission oil – too high viscosity; brake fl uid
– corrosive substance.
Do not use the product in an explosive environment with fl ammable liquids, gases or vapours.
Before starting, make sure that the product itself and its accessories are not damaged. If any
damage is discovered, it is not allowed to start working with the product.
The device is intended only for pumping clean water or clean oil. Mechanical impurities
must not be abrasive, e.g. metal particles in used engine oil. The device is not designed to
pump liquids other than water or oil such as petrol, solvents, acids, bases, organic substanc-
es, fats, sewage, faecal matter, as well as water or oil contaminated with such substances.
The device must be kept under supervision at all times during operation. Do not allow the
pump to dry run. This will cause the pump to overheat, which can damage it and cause fi re
or electrical shock.
The pump must not be used: for pumping drinking water; for continuous operation, for exam-
ple, for supplying a fountain with water; for pumping water at a temperature higher than that
speci fi ed in the technical data table.
If leaks are detected, stop the pump immediately, remove the power cord plug from the sock-
et and remove the leaks before resuming operation.
It is forbidden to repair, disassemble, or modify the device by yourself. All repairs to the prod-
uct must be carried out by an authorised service centre.
The device is not intended for use by children under at least 8 years of age and by persons with
reduced physical or mental abilities and by persons without experience in or understanding of
the operation of the device, unless they will be supervised or instructed to use the device safely,
in a manner ensuring that the risks involved are understood. Children should not play with the
device. Unattended children should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of
the device. Keep the device out of reach of children if it is powered or is cooling down.
Used engine oil must not be reused and must be disposed of in accordance with the local
regulations. It is forbidden to pour oil into the sewage system or directly into the ground.
Recommendations for transport and installation of the device
Warning! Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the device
to precipitation. The device is intended for indoor use only.
Warning! The device must be disconnected from the power supply during assembly and
preparation activities. The battery must be removed from the device’s socket.
The pump is designed for use with clean liquid only. Contaminants that will enter the pump
together with the water can lead to damage to the pump. Use a fi lter in the suction system.
If the end of the suction hose is lowered into a tank whose bottom is contaminated with e.g.
sand or sludge, or the water tank does not have a hard bottom, ensure that the end of the
hose fi tted with a fi lter is not lowered all the way to the bottom. The pump drawing impurities
will then work less e ffi ciently. In addition, contamination will lead to faster wear of the pump.
