USING THE TOOL
Usage conditions
Use glue only in the form of a stick with the diameter provided in the table. Care should be taken when working, as the glue gun
operates at a temperature of approx. 200 O C. During work breaks and after work, the gun should be placed on the stand. When
working, do not place the gun on its side or hang it with the outlet nozzle upwards, as this may cause damage the tool and thus
void the warranty. If the break between one gluing and another lasts longer than 30 minutes, wait a while for the cold stick to heat
up. Under no circumstances should the stick be pushed in by force. Excessive pressure on the stick may result in blocking the
glue stick in the gun.
If the stick is blocked in the gun, heat the gun for approx. 5 minutes, then remove the stick. If the stick is deep in the gun, heat up
the new stick at the gun outlet nozzle, apply the melted end to the glue blocking the gun and pull everything out, rotating slowly.
Under no circumstances should the stick bore be cleaned with sharp tools.
Glue gun operation
Slide the glue stick into the opening in the rear housing. Push the glue stick towards the outlet nozzle by pressing the pusher lever.
Do not use excessive force. Check that the tool switch is in the “o ff ” position – O. Plug the power cord into the socket in the gun
housing and then into the power socket. Place the gun on the stand and put, e.g., a piece of cardboard under the outlet nozzle.
Turn the power on by moving the switch to the “on” position – I. Above the switch, there are indicator lights whose illumination
indicates the power supply to the gun.
Wait for the heater component to heat up. Point the gun nozzle toward the test container or a piece of scrap cardboard. Try to
push the glue stick by applying pressure on the pusher lever. If the glue starts to fl ow, the gun is ready for use. If the lever is still
resistant, continue heating.
After completing work, place the gun on the stand so that the gun nozzle is above the piece of scrap cardboard. Turn o ff the gun
by moving the switch to the “o ff ” position – O, remove the plug from the socket, and wait for the gun to cool down on its own.
Wireless operation
The gun has high thermal inertia, which means that it cools down slowly. This feature can be used for wireless operation. However,
keep in mind that the gun does not have a battery and will not actively maintain the heater temperature when disconnected from
the power supply. If you notice thickening of the glue coming out of the nozzle of the gun or that an increased force is needed to
press the gun, reconnect the gun to the power supply and let it heat up.
Advice on gluing
The surfaces intended for gluing must be clean, dry, and have any oils removed from them. Press the glued surfaces and wait.
After approx. 1 - 2 minutes the bonding will be fi nished.
“Spot” gluing is recommended for large surfaces. Foam products (e.g. polystyrene) may be glued together, provided that they
have a protective lining. Do not apply the glue directly to foam products!
When gluing textile or similar materials, the glue should be applied in “S” pattern.
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
CAUTION! Before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance work, unplug the tool from the power outlet. Having
fi nished working with the workpiece/material, inspect the power tool for damage by visually inspecting the exterior and the body
and the handles. Check the power cord and its rubber gland, the action of the ON/OFF switch, the vents for clogging, the motor
brushes for sparking, the noise of the bearings and the drive transmission, and how the power tool starts and runs. During the
warranty period, the user is not allowed to disassemble the tool or replace any components or parts, as this will void the warranty
rights. Any irregularities found during overhaul or the operation signal the need for repair at a service centre. For this purpose,
contact the manufacturer. Having fi nished your work, clean the housing, the vents, all switches, all handles and guards with
compressed air (at 0.3 MPa maximum), a brush or a dry cloth. Do not use any chemicals or cleaners. Do not use sharp tools for
cleaning. Remove the circular saw and clean the inside of the guards, the fi xing of the circular saw, as well as the saw itself from
dust and other impurities generated during operation. Clean handles, knobs and other adjusting parts with a dry, clean cloth.
