Select the milling cutter with the handle diameter listed in the technical data table. Press and hold the spindle lock button and
unscrew the clamping nut using a wrench. If the diameter of the milling cutter handle is smaller than the sleeve inside the nut, use
the supplied reduction sleeve (III). The nut with the milling cutter should be screwed onto the spindle thread, then by pressing and
holding the spindle lock, tighten the nut
fi
rmly and securely using a wrench (IV).
To disassemble the milling cutter, follow the above procedure in reverse order.
Installation of the working attachment
The router is equipped with a multifunctional base and an attachment for edge milling. You can only use one attachment at a time.
Before installing the attachment, the currently installed attachment must be removed.
Loosen the base retaining screw, slide the router housing into the base hole so that the guides on the perimeter of the router hit
the notches on the perimeter of the hole, then tighten the base retaining screw. A correctly installed base cannot be removed other
than by loosening the
fi
xing screw.
Secure the edge cutting attachment by sliding its snap ring onto the router body (XIV).
Operation of the multifunctional base
The base has a guide for setting the milling depth. Ensure that the height setting locking lever is unlocked before starting height
setting. A limiter with a screw-mounted rod and a rotating stepped guide located in the base (VI) is used for setting.
The range of vertical movement of the cutter can be read on the scale on the other side of the housing (VII). Above the scale, there
is a knob to adjust the upper range within which the cutter is to move vertically.
The height of the router relative to the multifunctional base can be locked at any level by turning the locking lever.
The multifunctional base has the option of
fi
tting one of two slides. For parallel cutting in a straight line (VIII) and for parallel cutting
in a curve (XI).
Fasten the bars to the chosen guide with screws (VIII), (XI). Then insert the rods into the holes in the base and, once the guide is
in the desired position, lock it in place using the knobs (IX), (XII).
Position the guide so that it slides along the edge of the workpiece (X). The parallel cutting guide is equipped with only two stop
plates and the curved cutting guide with a rotating roller. The height of the roller can be adjusted with a link and then locked in
place with a knob.
A copy plate can also be
fi
tted to the underside of the stand to copy the cutting pattern from a template. Caution! The diameter of
the cutter must be smaller than that of the hole in the copy plate. The
fl
ange of the hole should be pointed downwards on the tool.
Screw the plate in place with screws from the underside of the base (XIII). Due to the height of the
fl
ange, the template should be
at least 5 mm thick. The template should be
fi
xed on the workpiece and the router guided in such a way that the
fl
ange of the hole
in the copy plate is in contact with the edge of the template at all times. The cutter will cut the pattern by copying the template.
Operating the edge cutting attachment
After
fi
xing the attachment, adjust the cutting depth by loosening the knob connecting the two parts of the attachment, and then
adjust the position of the lower part of the attachment. The cutting depth can be read on a scale located on the attachment. Once
the correct depth has been set, tighten the knob locking the position of the lower attachment. Guide the router with the attachment
so that the foot of the attachment is against the surface and the cutter is perpendicular to the edge to be machined (XV).
Circular cutting (XVII)
Only one rod and a circle cutter can be used. The tip screw is the axis of rotation.
Dust extraction
The multifunction attachment also allows the installation of an adapter for an external system extracting dust generated during
operation, e.g. by means of an industrial vacuum cleaner. Fix the adapter to the attachment and assemble it with a screw (XVI). Do
not tighten the screw too much to avoid damaging the adapter. On the other side of the housing there is a lifting cover, the cover
should always be raised during operation. The cover can be lowered for easier installation and removal of the cutter.
An industrial vacuum cleaner can be used as a dust extraction system. It is not recommended to use a household vacuum cleaner,
which is not suitable for absorbing dust generated during wood processing and may be damaged during such work. Always con-
nect a
fl
exible hose to the tool connection, which allows the tool to operate freely. Position the hose so that it does not come into
contact with the inserted tool during operation. If the diameter of the vacuum cleaner hose di
ff
ers from the connection diameter,
use the adapter (available separately).
The edge cutting attachment does not allow the dust extraction attachment to be
fi
tted.
Adjusting the rotational speed
The plunge router rotational speed can be adjusted smoothly within the range speci
fi
ed in the technical data table. The speed is
set using the knob. The higher the visible number, the higher the rotational speed. The rotational speed must be selected accord-
ing to the type of workpiece and the diameter of the milling cutter. The smaller the diameter of the milling cutter and the harder the
wood, the higher the speed which can be set. Please note, however, that too high a speed can cause the workpiece to burn. It is
