4. Adjusting the clutch cable
Measure the adjustment screw corresponding to the end of the
lever. Adjust to: 3-8 mm. If the clearance is not correct, loosen
the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut outwards or inwards ac-
cordingly.
(1) Fixing nut
(2) Adjusting nut
After adjustment, tighten the locking nut. Start the engine and
check that the operation of the clutch lever is correct.
5. Throttle lever regulation
Measure the retaining screw. The appropriate clearance should be
between: 5-10 mm. If the clearance is not correct, loosen the lock
nut and turn the adjusting nut outwards or inwards accordingly.
6. Regulación de la tensión de la correa
Adjust the clutch lever. The stan-
dard belt tension is 60-65 mm
on the tensioner, with the clutch
tight.
To complete the adjustment, loo-
sen the 4 motor coupling bolts and
the engine clamping bolt and drive the motor in forward or reverse
motion to properly tighten the belt.
NOTE:
After adjusting the tension, check that the outer and inner
side of the drive pulley match, using a straight gauge
.
(1) Motor coupling bolts
(2) Pin fixing motor
Loosen the fastening bolts of the belt stop.
Adjust the play between the belt stop and the belt itself as shown
in the figure, keeping the clutch lever pressed.

WARNING:
During transport operations, switch off
the engine, close the fuel valve and keep the machine in a
horizontal position to prevent fuel spillage.
The fuel vapors and the fuel itself are flammable. Before storing the
machine for a long period.
Before storing the machine for a long period:
1. Check that the place where the machine will be stored does not
have dust or excessive humidity, nor are herbs or other flammable
materials.
2. Empty the tank
WARNING:
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explo-
sive under certain conditions. Do not smoke or generate
sparks in the surrounding area.
a. With the valve switched off, remove and empty the fuel filter
cap.
b. Open the valve and empty the gasoline into a suitable container.
c. Replace the fuel filter cap and tighten completely.
d. Unload the carburetor by loosening the discharge handle. Dischar-
ge gasoline into a suitable container.

3. Pull the starting handle until you feel some resistance. Continue
pulling until the notch on the starter pulley matches the hole in the
self-starting starter. Then the intake and exhaust valves are closed
which helps to protect the engine against internal corrosion.
(1) Align the notch on the starter pulley with the hole in co
-
rrespondence with the upper end of the self-starting starter.
4. Change the engine oil
5. Cover the machine with a plastic sheet.
Do not place the machine with the handlebar on the ground, this
would cause the oil to enter the cylinder or the fuel outlet.
