The sliding door to the forward cabin
NOTE!
It is advisable to keep the sliding door of the cabin shut while
driving. If, however, you wish to keep it in the “open” position
while driving slowly, the door should be secured with a latch to
prevent it from sliding shut and trapping someone.
5.10.4
Respect for the environment
Our seas, lakes and archipelago are unique and their conservation is a matter of honour for
each boater. Therefore you should avoid:
-
fuel and oil leakages
-
emptying garbage and waste into the water or on the shore
-
letting detergents or solvents get into the water
-
loud noise both on the water and at the marina
-
producing unnecessarily high wash in narrow passages and shallow waters
Service the engine well and run it at the most economical speed, which will also keep exhaust
emissions low.
Please also consider other local environmental legislation and regulations. Please make sure to
familiarise yourself with the international regulations on the prevention of pollution at sea
(MARPOL) and respect these to the greatest possible extent.
5.10.5
Use of toilet and waste tank
As rinsing water toilet uses seawater. When rinsing toilet the waste goes to septic tank.
Rinsing water inlet is located under the inspection hatch which is located starboard side of
bunk. In normal use valve can be open. In heavy sea we recommended that you close the
valve to avoid water overflow.
The capacity of the septic tank is 28 l and it's located in starboard locker. The pump-out deck
fitting complies with the standard ISO 8099 and the fitting is located on the side deck at
starboard side.
