INSTALLING THE SHIFT PEDAL

1. Install:

• Shift pedal “1”

TIP

Install the shift pedal so that its end is positioned
in the range “a” shown in the illustration.

INSTALLING THE MUFFLER AND EXHAUST
PIPE

1. Install:

• Gaskets
• Exhaust pipe
• Muffler clamp
• Muffler

TIP

Do not fully tighten the nuts and bolts.

2. Tighten:

• Exhaust pipe nuts “1”

• Muffler bolts “2”

• Muffler clamp bolt “3”

Brake pedal position

12.0 mm (0.47 in)

Shift pedal bolt

16 Nm (1.6 m·kgf, 11 ft·lbf)
LOCTITE®

Exhaust pipe nut

20 Nm (2.0 m·kgf, 14 ft·lbf)
