Fuel Injected Softail Models
INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations on your purchase of the Fuelpak
Fuel Management System for fuel injected Harley-Davidson
®
motorcycles. Please take the time to read the entire instruction
manual before attempting to install. DO NOT adjust the Fuelpak
until you have thoroughly read the instruction manual and the unit
is fully installed. If you have questions, please call (562) 921-0071.
SUMMARY: To achieve the optimum performance from your
application, it is recommended that you install a high performance air
filter in conjunction with this unit.
The Fuelpak will be installed between
the factory wiring harness and the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

NOTICE:
Fuelpak is intended for racing use only, and
is not legal for sale or use in California on
pollution-controlled vehicles.
1.
Be sure the handlebar and main switch are in the off
position during the installation process. Failure to do so
will cause the “Check Engine” light to be set.
2.
Remove seat. Slide the main fuse caddy towards the
left side of the bike and remove from tab. Fuse caddy
will be relocated.
3.
Slide Data Port Plug rearward and remove from tab.
Plug will be relocated.
4.
Locate and disconnect the black and grey 18-pin
connectors from the ECU.

When looking at the ECU with connectors towards
the ground, connect the Fuelpak Black connector
to the left side of the ECU. Connect Fuelpak Grey
connector to the right side of the ECU. NOTE: Do
NOT force the connector on to ECU. If the
connector does not slide smoothly on to the ECU verify
the correct connector is being installed in the
correct location.
The ECU is labeled Black and Grey.

Connect OEM Black and Grey connector to the Fuelpak
Black and Grey connectors.
7.
Arrange connectors, main fuse caddy, and data port
plug with the Fuelpak on top of the battery as shown
in
FIG 3.
8.
You are now ready to setup your Fuelpak.
