STARTER (CHOKE) CABLE FREE PLAY
ADJUSTMENT

1. Measure:

•

Starter cable free play

Out of specification 

→

 Adjust.

Starter cable free play:

0.5 ~ 1.5 mm (0.02 ~ 0.06 in)

2. Adjust:

•

Starter cable free play

Adjustment steps:

•

Loosen the locknut

•

Turn the adjusting nut

 in or out until the

specified free play is obtained.

Turning in

 Free play is increased.

Turning out

 Free play is decreased.

Tighten the locknut.
