Move the shift lever to the “FWD.” position.

Loosen the locknuts

Turn the shift rod

so that shift rod free play is

0 mm (in direction where

can be shortened

appropriately) and then turn back the shift rod

1/4 turns.

Tighten the locknuts.

Drive chain housing oil
