1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.

WARNING

@

Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over. 

2. Remove: 

• upper steering stem ring nut 

1

• upper race 

2

NOTE:

@

Hold the upper race with the steering nut
wrench (45 mm), and then remove the upper
steering stem ring nut with the steering nut
wrench. 

WARNING

@

Securely support the lower bracket so that
there is no danger of it falling.
