1. Install:

washer (to armature)

(in start motor front cover

starter motor yoke

starter motor front cover bolts
(with washers)

NOTE:

Align the mark

on the starter motor yoke with

the mark

on the starter motor front cover.

INSTALLING THE STARTER MOTOR

For installation, reverse the removal procedure.

Brush spring force
