Scale Tuning
By default, the scale of this keyboard is set to Equal Temperament — the same tunin g
as with any acoustic piano. However, the settin g can be chan g ed to any other scale
accordin g to the music g enre or style in which you want to play.
Selecting a Scale
Yo u can select a desired scale among the v ario u s
preset scales.

Press the [FUNCTION] button.

Use the CATEGORY [<<] and [>>] button
to call up “Scale” (Function 046).
After a fe w seconds, the c u rrent scale appears.

Rotate the dial to select a scale.
The defa u lt setting is “1 Eq u al.”

Scale
Make s u re to specify the appropriate b ase note, if
yo u select a scale other than Eq u al Temperament, or
create an original scale v ia Scale T u ne f u nction.
