Basic Operation
This instr u ment feat u res fo u r b asic f u nctions: Voice, Style, Song and Groo v e Creator. To u se this instr u ment,
select a b asic f u nction first, and then make v ario u s settings.

Rotate the dial clock w ise to
increase the v al u e of the
selected item, or co u nter-
clock w ise to decrease it’s
v al u e.

Groo v e, Song, etc., yo u can u se
these bu ttons to j u mp to the first
item in the next or pre v io u s cate-
gory.
These bu ttons can also b e u sed
to select f u nction items seq u en-
tially after pressing the [FUNC-
TION] bu tton.
CATEGORY [<<], [>>] buttons
Use these bu ttons to directly
enter the desired Style/
Voice n u m b er etc, or a
parameter v al u e.

Number buttons [0]–[9]
Press the [+/YES] bu tton b riefly to
increase the v al u e b y 1, or press
the [-/NO] bu tton b riefly to
decrease the v al u e b y 1. Press
and hold either bu tton to contin u -
o u sly increase or decrease the
v al u e in the corresponding direc-
tion.
Pressing b oth bu ttons sim u ltane-
o u sly lets yo u reset a parameter
to the defa u lt v al u e.
[+/YES], [-/NO] buttons
Decrease

The “Press & Hold” Symbol
B u ttons ha v ing this indication can b e u sed to call u p an alternate f u nction w hen the rele v ant
bu tton is pressed and held. Hold do w n this bu tton u ntil the f u nction calls u p.
