Remove the oil level switch from the bot-

tom of the crankcase cover.

(Refer to “PISTON, CAMSHAFT,

CRANKCASE, AND CRANKSHAFT” on 3-32)

Connect the pocket tester (

× 1) to the

oil level switch lead and check for conti-
nuity.
