Installing the thermostat
Do not reuse a gasket, always replace it
with a new one.
1. Install the thermoswitches

2. Install new gaskets

and the thermostat
housings

thermostat housing bolts

specified torque.
3. Install new gaskets

to the thermostats

4. Install the thermostats

, thermostat
covers

, and hoses

, and then tighten
the bolts

to the specified torque.
Installing the knock sensor
1. Install the hoses

and joints

, and then fasten the hoses
using the clamps

.
2. Install the knock sensor

to the bracket

, and then tighten the knock sensor

to the specified torque.
3. Install the bracket

, and then tighten
the knock sensor bracket bolts

to the
specified torque in the order

so on.
Installing the pulley bracket
1. Install the bracket

the timing belt pulley bracket bolts

to
the specified torques in 2 stages and in
