Checking the tilt operation
1. Fully tilt the outboard motor up and down
a few times and check the entire tilt range
for smooth operation. Check the tilt
mechanism if necessary.
2. Fully tilt the outboard motor up, then sup-
port it with the tilt stop lever

the lock mechanism of the lever.
