Turn the key to “OFF” and turn off all
electrical circuits.
Remove the blown fuse, and then
install a new fuse of the specified
amperage.

Turn the key to “ON” and turn on the
electrical circuits to check if the
devices operate.
If the fuse immediately blows again,
have a Yamaha dealer check the
electrical system.

Remove the headlight / front position
light holder by pushing it inward and
turning counterclockwise, and then
remove the defective bulb.
Place the new bulb into position, and
then secure it with the bulb holder.
Install the panel.
Have a Yamaha dealer adjust the
headlight beam if necessary.
NOTICE
Replacing the fuse
1. Spare fuse
The fuse holder is located under the seat.
(See page 3-7.)
If the fuse is blown, replace it as follows.
Specified fuse:
7.50 A
Do not use a fuse of a higher
amperage rating than recommended
to avoid causing extensive damage
to the electrical system and possibly
a fire.
Replacing the headlight bulb or front
position light bulb
If the headlight bulb or front position light
bulb burns out, please replace as follows.
1. Headlight holder
2. Front position light holder
