Switchin g Between Passive and Bi-amp Mode
The factory setting for CZR internal w iring is the Passi v e mode. Ho w e v er, yo u can change the setting to the Bi-amp
mode. W hen dri v ing in the Bi-amp mode, yo u m u st u se an external crosso v er processor and the o u tp u t from a 2-
channel amplifier. By dri v ing in the Bi-amp mode, protection can b e set separately for the LF and HF, and precise set-
tings can b e made for crosso v er freq u ency and time alignment b et w een the LF and HF. This optimizes the perfor-
mance capacity of each u nit and increases the limit capa b ility.

Using a M5 Phillips head screwdriver, remove all fixing screws on the rear panel, and remove the rear panel.

Disconnect the input and output cable connectors from the [PASSIVE IN]/[PASSIVE OUT] connectors on the network base,
and connect them to [BI-AMP IN]/[BI-AMP OUT] connectors respectively.

Re-install the rear panel to the speaker, reversing the steps above. (The base shown below is of the CZR10.)
• When removing the screws, make sure not to push the screws strongly. This may cause the nuts inside the cabinet to fall off.
• If the rear panel cannot smoothly be removed, hook the notches using a flat-bladed screwdriver, and pull out.
After changing the mode, we recommend marking the appropriate blank on the rear panel list to indicate the current state.
