Test No. LCD display Test descriptions, judging conditions, etc.
46 046 : USB to Device/Host Check Checking [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and [USB TO HOST] terminal simultaneously.
There are 2 types of [USB TO DEVICE] terminal; one is terminal located on the panel
and the other is terminal located on the jack unit. Perform this check with each of these
terminals.
1. Press the [START/STOP] button fi rst. "
Device-Host1 Check -- " will appear on LCD.
2. When USB cable is connected to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and [USB TO HOST]
terminal, " Device-Host1 Check OK " is displayed on LCD, immediately followed by
" Device-Host2 Check -- ".
3. Pull USB cable off [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and [USB TO HOST] terminal and
insert the USB fl ash memory to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal.
Confi rm that " USB to Device/Host Check OK " is displayed on LCD and the C4 note
is output.
47 047 : USB Storage Device Check Tests if USB Storage devices can be used.
Perform this check with each of [USB TO DEVICE] terminal.
When USB-FDD unit is used
1. Connect FDD to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and insert a fl oppy disk.
When no disk is inserted, " NO DISK " will be displayed on LCD. Also, when the fl oppy
disk has not been formatted, " UNFORMAT DISK " is displayed and when the protect
function is applied to it, " PROTECT DISK " is displayed on LCD.
2. Conduct 10-sector read/write test.
3. Read every 100 sectors from 0 sector.
4. Compare with data after sector writing to confi rm agreement.
Use also for testing compatibility with USB Storage devices and testing FDD in the
same package.
Confi rm that " USB Storage Device Check OK " is displayed on LCD.
When USB fl ash memory is used
Insert the USB fl ash memory and press the [START/STOP] button.
Confi rm that "
USB Storage Device Check OK " is displayed on LCD.
48 048 : LAN Check Checks LAN.
After connecting the [LAN] terminal and the LAN port of the router (BBR-4MG) with a
LAN cable, execute the test. Confi rm that "
LAN Check OK " is displayed on LCD.
Remove the LAN cable when the test is over.
49 049 : Keyboard Type Check Determines if the appropriate keyboard is connected. Keyboard type currently
connected is displayed.
Determines OK if the LSIs for three keyboards (Lo, Md and Hi) are all identifi ed as the
GH3 Keyboard.
Confi rm that "
Keyboard Type Check OK (Lo: GH3 Md: GH3 Hi: GH3) " is displayed
on LCD.
50 050 : Make Position Check Checks GH3 MakePosition (PingPongPang mode)

Note: xxMake 1 " -> " Note: xxMake12 " -> " Note: xxMake 123 " are displayed on LCD
while testing. 0, +4 and +7 notes are output with a velocity of 127 for every three Makes.
For example, if pressing the C key on the keyboard, each note CEG is output.
Releasing the key, sound output sequentially stops.
51 051 : 1-2Make Check Checks 1-2Make.

testing. Sound is output with a velocity calculated by the 1-2Make. The value nn varies
depending on the velocity with which the key is pressed. (nn: 127 max.)
52 052 : 2-3Make Check Checks 2-3Make.
