Recording Your Performance

CLP-380 Owner’s Manual

Basic Operation

Procedure

1.

Select “NewSong” for recording.

Press the [REC] and [STOP] buttons simultaneously.

2.

Select a voice.

Select a voice (or voices) for recording (see page 23).

Set the other parameters, such as reverb, chorus and Song Balance.
Adjust the [MASTER VOLUME] dial to set the volume level to suit your 
preference. You can also use the dial to adjust the level during playback.
After you set the tempo or if the record standby screen does not appear, press the 
[SONG SELECT] button once to return to the “NewSong” screen.

3.

Engage the record mode.

Press the [REC] button.

The [REC] and [RIGHT] indicators flash in red.
(To stop recording, press the [REC] button again or press the [STOP] button.)

Set the tempo, if necessary. 
If this record standby screen does not appear, press the [SONG SELECT] button 
once.
