clutch plates

There are two kinds of friction plates, so
do not mix the plates up when installing
them.

a. Install a friction plate and clutch plate.
b. Install a clutch spring plate, friction plate

(large of inside dia.) and clutch plate.

c. Install a friction plate and then alternate

between a clutch plate and a friction plate.

8. Install:

pressure plate

clutch springs

clutch spring bolts

When installing the clutch springs, alternate
between long and short clutch springs.

Tighten the clutch spring bolts in stages and
in a crisscross pattern.

9. Install:

clutch cover

clutch cover bolts

Tighten the clutch cover bolts in stages and
in a crisscross pattern.
