Connecting to a Faraway Station Using WIRES-X

Disconnecting from a node or room
While pressing

, press the #99999 (DTMF disconnection command) key.
Various display functions
Confirming the digital node location
When the signal from the local node you are connected to contains GPS location
information, you can display the location data on the screen.
While viewing the connection destination screen, press
F
, and while
F
is displayed
on the destination screen, press
M
to display the compass screen. The direction and
distance from the present station to the local node will be displayed.
Press
M
again to return to the connection destination screen.

latitude & longitude screen appears instead of the compass screen.
Confirming the frequency
On the WIRES-X screen, press
V
to change to the frequency display screen that was
displayed before using WIRES-X. Press
V
again to return to the WIRES-X screen.
