Safety Precautions
CAUTION
CAUTION
Always use an intensity
level that is suitable for
your skin. Refer to “How to
set the Flash level” (p.11)
If using the device for the first
time, or until you get used to
using the device, always start
from level 1.
Use only in the proper
operational environmental
temperature of 5°C - 35°C.
Check the temperature of
the environment you are in
before using the device to
prevent possible damage
or malfunction.
NOTE: If there is a sudden
change in temperature, it
may take some time for the
device to adapt to the new
environment.

after each use. Remove
hair debris and cosmetics
from the main unit since
this may cause skin burns,
a malfunction, or skin
irritation.
Always shave the treatment
area before applying flash
treatment. If you apply
flash to skin with long hair
remaining, hair debris may
adhere to the treatment
window and cause burns
on the window. Gently
remove hair debris or dirt
from the treatment window
using a cotton tip.
Brush away any hair debris
on the skin as this may
cause your skin to feel
more heat during flash
emission.
Use a moisturizer on a
daily basis to prevent your
skin from overdrying. If
your skin is too dry, you
m a y n o t g e t t h e b e s t
results.
Avoid exercise, bathing
in a hot tub, or drinking
alcohol until the day after a
t r e a t m e n t a s t h i s m a y
cause skin irritation.
If your skin continues to
feel warm after treatment,
you can cool down the skin
completely with a cold
towel.
Skin may remain warm
after treatment depending
on your body condition or
on how the device has
been used. If the skin
warmth bothers you, follow
instructions (p.14 sec.7) to
treat the symptom.
If this symptom does not
improve, consult your
doctor.
Avoid sun or UV exposure
to areas that have been
treated for at least 24 hours
after treatment. If redness
remains after 24 hours,
continue to avoid sun
e x p o s u r e . A l s o a p p l y
sunscreen to protect the
skin during the treatment
period to avoid potential
skin problems.
Make sure there are not
any dark or black objects,
cosmetics, dirt, or hair
debris on the attachment
before use as this may
cause skin burns, damage
the attachment, or lead to a
possible malfunction.
Do not use out of doors or
under direct sunlight as
this may cause malfunction
or the device may not work
properly.

animals as this may cause
injury.
D o n o t u s e i f y o u a r e
experiencing skin rash,
irritation, or itchiness.
Discontinue use if you
experience an abnormal
skin reaction during or
after treatment.
Do not wipe the device with
solvents such as alcohol,
thinner, benzene, nail
polish remover, as this may
c a u s e d a m a g e t o t h e
surface of the main unit.

clothes, objects, or your
h e a d h a i r a s t h i s m a y
cause burns, discoloration,
or damage.
Do not apply perfume or
makeup on areas that have
just been treated as this
may cause skin problems.
(Not including skin care
products for moisturizing.)
Do not apply antiperspirant
right after performing
treatment on underarms.
Refrain from use until
redness completely fades
away.
Do not place the device
n e a r o b j e c t s t h a t a r e
susceptible to magnetism
as this may cause damage
to the objects, or result in a
malfunction of the device.
Make sure the treatment
window is not broken,
distorted, discolored, or
damaged.
D o n o t u s e i f y o u s e e
damage or broken parts on
the device as this may
worsen the damage or
cause burns or injury to the
skin or fingers.
Do not use more than once
a day on the same area.
Excess treatment does not
improve effectiveness.
For best results, follow the
t r e a t m e n t f r e q u e n c y
recommendations (p.12).
Treatment areas may be
slightly over lapped during
a treatment.
