8.5 Clean Up Glass Plate
①
User should always keep the glass plate clean. Any dirt, dust, and oil on your glass plate can affect your print quality.
If the filament adheres poorly to dirty glass, it ccan directly affect the object. Some ways of cleaning the glass are much
more effective than others. For PartPro300xT, the glass surface has a print bed sheet film on it. User should regularly
change the mylar whenever they find wear.
② After removing
print bed sheet
, user should clean the glass thoroughly before replacing a new sheet as following.
1. Wipe down the glass with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Or wash the glass with water (may add mild dish detergent). Rinse thoroughly
Note:
Don’t use any tools that will scratch/score the glass.
