12.2.3 Setup for VM22E
For the hardware installation of the VM22E, see the connection scheme below. The illustrations below show
connections to the built-in MIO card, but you can also connect to a MIO card in an XO I/O Interface USB module.
The table below lists the correct connections between the VM22E module and the MIO card (built-in or external):

12.2.4 Troubleshooting Talkback
If talkback does not work, check the following:

In the XO client software, check the access rights of the user: Audio talk must be allowed.
l
Routers may block UDP packets. In the audio setup in the XO client, specify TCP, or configure the router to
allow UDP packets.
l
Use the PC headphones plug instead of the PC microphone plug.
l
Check the configuration of the microphone on your computer. For details, see below.
To configure the microphone on your computer in Windows Vista/Windows 7, proceed as follows:
1. Click Start , and then click Control Panel .
2. Click Sound , and then click the Recording tab.
