NOTICE:
Read this user manual carefully and make sure that you are sufficiently familiar with the
instructions for working with gas burners and gas appliances before connecting them to a pressure
LPG vessel for the first time. Keep this manual carefully for future use!
This user manual is common to other types of
hoses for gas torch kits

Operating conditions
The torch set is intended for work in spaces and rooms where sufficient ventilation is
guaranteed (air exchange with the outside space can be ensured by opening windows, balcony
doors, ventilation wings, etc.). Burners consume oxygen during operation, and in unventilated,
closed rooms, the user's life can be seriously endangered due to lack of oxygen and increased
concentration of CO. It is forbidden to use the equipment in rooms and spaces below ground
level, except for the implementation of reconstruction, repair or maintenance work, provided
that this space is permanently ventilated. The appliance with the vessel must be removed from
these rooms and spaces at the end of each work shift, unless another shift follows it.
The
minimum separation distance of the pressure vessel from a heat source without an open flame
must be at least 0.5 m and from other sources with an open flame in the direction of direct
radiation 1.5 m. The surface temperature of the pressure vessel must not exceed 40 °C and the
pressure vessel must not be exposed to direct sunlight. The pressure vessel may only be used
in a vertical position. It is forbidden to place and use pressurized LPG vessels (even empty
ones) in areas below ground level. It is strictly prohibited to carry out any direct heating of
pressure vessels with LPG to increase the vaporization point of the gas. Ask for instructions
for handling LPG vessels every time you change one
. Detailed information is provided in ČSN
38 6462 and in TPG 402 01. It is possibl
e to use only the supplied type of pressurized LPG
hose approved by the manufacturer. The pressurized LPG hose must be secured against
abrasion and burns or other mechanical damage during operation. The pressurized LPG hose
must not be adjusted or modified in any other way. For safety reasons, the service life of the
pressurized LPG hose is set
for 2
years since the first use. After this time, replace the hose.
There must be a sufficient number of appropriately located fire extinguishers near the burner
durin
g work. C02 fire extinguishers can
be used.
Connection and leak check
Before connecting to the gas vessel, check both hose nuts for fiber seals and for damage or
wear. Before connecting the one-way valve, check the connection neck of the pressure vessel
for dirt, debris or damaged threads. Remove any dirt. If the thread is damaged, the appliance
must not be connected to the vessel. Do not use a damaged vessel and replace it with an
undamaged one. Connect the one-way valve and the control handle to the closed control
valve with a connecting hose, fitted with a fiber seal in the sleeve connection nuts. Tighten the
flare nuts on both sides of the hose with an assembly wrench.
Screw the corresponding burner
onto the outlet fitting of the
control valve and tighten with the assembly wrench. Open the one-
way valve by turning the knob to the left and check for gas leaks around the fitting by
applying a foaming solution (i.e. soapy water). The control valve remains closed.
It is strictly forbidden to carry out a leak test with an open flame!
