Igniting and extinguishing the burner
Check whether any of the screw connections are loose or whether the rubber sealing ring on the
thread that screws into the bottle has fallen out or is not deformed. Open the one-way valve (vessel
valve - for a 10 kg LPG vessel) by turning the regulator to the left and by smearing it with a foaming
solution (e.g. soapy water) check that gas does not leak around all fittings. The control valve
remains closed. If there is no gas leakage, open the control valve knob to the left until you hear a
faint hiss of flowing gas, then light the gas at the burner mouth.
When working in different operating conditions (e.g., summer / winter), it is necessary to adjust
the burners. Adjust the burning intensity by closing or opening the control valve, or by adjusting
the locking nut and pulling the burner to a new position. This adjustment will change the distance
of the primary air holes from the nozzle mouth, which will affect the combustion of the gas (flame
temperature). Regulate the burning intensity only after the burner has warmed up, i.e., after about
2 minutes of operation
. With optimal combustion, the flame is colored blue-green.
During the preheating period (approx. 2 min.) or when moving the
appliance, the gas may burn
with a flickering flame. Turn off the burner by closing the control valve. When closing the set for a
longer period of time (e.g., overnight), first close the one-way (vessel - for a 10 kg vessel) valve
on the LPG vessel and let the rest of the gas from the supply hose burn off. Only then proceed to
close the control valve on the handle. Otherwise, the hose is exposed to direct overpressure of
the gas from the pressurized LPG vessel.
Disconnecting the pressurized LPG vessel
Before disconnecting the appliance, check that the burner is extinguished (no flame). The
appliance can only be disconnected if the one-way (vessel - for a 10 kg vessel) on the vessel and
the control valve on the handle is closed. Unscrew the one-way valve from the vessel by turning
it to the left. Fit the disconnected bottle with a protective cap.
For a 10 kg LPG vessel, unscrew the reducing valve from the side fitting of the vessel valve. Fit
the disconnected vessel with a protective cap. If you are not going to connect the appliance to
another LPG vessel, also disconnect the supply hose from it and store it in such a way as to
prevent contamination or mechanical damage. Insert plugs into the supply hose flare nuts to
prevent dirt from entering the hose and the gasket from the flare nuts.
Store the hose in such a
way that its contamination or mechanical damage is prevented.
Maintenance
Before each use, it is necessary to check the tightness of all connections, check the tightness
(see. Connection and leak check), the condition of the seals, or regulate the primary air supply,
which affects the shape of the flame and the quality of gas combustion (see. Ignition and
extinguishing of the burner). Before each use, it is also necessary to check that the primary air
holes are not dirty or blocked. Always carry out maintenance of the appliance at regular intervals
and at reduced power and also in cases of greater contamination (clogging of the primary air
supply openings). During operation, make sure that the LPG vessel is always situated lower than
the burner. This will reduce the possibility of clogging the nozzles.
Check the condition of the pressure hose visually or by touch. In case of bulging or other damage,
it must be replaced immediately. If the pressure hose is subjected to rougher handling during use
in demanding operating conditions, for safety reasons, it is advisable for the user to carry out a
simple leak test of the pressure hose at regular intervals and to prevent a fire due to the ignition
of escaping gas by detecting the leak in time. Checking the tightness of the hose can be carried
