8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!
•
Always ensure that both batteries and the activation key are removed from the device
before checking, storing, cleaning or performing any maintenance on the device.
•
If you are going to store the device, always remove the activation key from it and keep it
in a safe place out of the reach of children.
•
Always wear protective gloves and goggles when performing inspection or maintenance.
Never use gasoline, thinners or other alcohol-based agents for cleaning and mechanical
maintenance of the device. Discoloration, deformation or cracking of components may occur.
To ensure the safety and reliability of the product, all repairs, warranty and post-warranty service
and necessary maintenance related operations may only be carried out by an authorized service
center and with the use of original spare parts.
MAINTENANCE RELATED TASKS AND INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Remove the activation key and both batteries from the device and then close the battery
cover.
2) Place the mower on its side (opposite to where the cutting height adjustment lever is
located) and remove accumulated material, such as grass clippings, dirt and other debris
from the cutting blade area.
3) If the pollution is high, use a non-metallic object (wooden handle, piece of lumber, plastic
scraper, etc.) and in combination with water first mechanically remove the layer of
accumulated material).
4) Check that all bolts, nuts, adjusting knobs, screws and other connecting and fastening
elements are correctly and securely tightened.
5) Check that the individual components of the device do not show any signs of damage,
tears, cracks or wear. Damaged and missing parts shall be repaired, replaced or serviced
immediately.
6) Store the device in a dry and safe place out of the reach of children.
TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
Carry the device ideally with two people while holding the front handle and the lower handles (see
image below).
