7.1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORDLESS LAWN MOWER
CAUTION!
•
Always follow all safety precautions and instructions stated in this user manual before and
during operation with the device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric
shock injury, fire or serious personal injury.
• Before starting the device, consider the surrounding conditions, actively anticipate and
avoid situations that could lead to loss of control over the equipment, property damage or
personal injury.
QUALIFICATION
No special qualification or training are required to handle and operate the device. However, it is
absolutely imperative to study and follow all instructions stated in this user manual and all other
safety measures valid at the time associated with the area where this device is to be used.
The device may only be operated by persons over 18 years of age (unless local legislation
stipulates otherwise), if these persons have first learned all information in this user manual and
have fully understood all its instructions. Persons under the age of 18 may only operate this device
under the supervision of other persons over the age of 18 who have been fully trained to operate
the equipment, and/or if such persons have been trained by qualified personnel and have gained
sufficient knowledge and experience to safely operate the device.
RESIDUAL RISKS

The rotating blade of the mower blade can cause serious injuries, such as cuts and
lacerations. Never reach into the area of the cutting blade when the device is ON. Always
wait until the blade comes to a complete stop after switching the device off.
• Use adequate protective equipment, such as goggles, gloves, suitable footwear, etc.

Never remove the collection basket when the device is switched on. Flying rocks, debris
or pieces of soil can cause injury.
• Before starting the device, check the area where the device is to be used and remove all
dangerous and foreign objects from this area. Make sure that the collection basket is
correctly fitted.
• Insufficient lighting at work increases the risk of injury. Ensure that the workplace is
sufficiently lit when working with the device.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORDLESS LAWN MOWER
1) Do not insert the activation key into the device slot until it is completely ready for use.
2) Keep the mower away from children. The device itself or its sub-components must never
be confused with a child's toy.
3) Never work with the mower if there are other people or live animals in its immediate vicinity.
4) Keep in mind that the operator of the device is directly responsible for any injuries to other
people or damage to property resulting from handling and using this device.
5) Never use the mower with bare feet. Always wear only suitable and sturdy work shoes and
long trousers. Avoid wearing jewelry and long, loose parts of clothing, such as strings or
laces. They could get caught in the rotating parts of the device and cause injury.
