Setting the on/off operating point
By adjusting the floating switch and its snap-in holder, the switch-on and off point of the floating switch
can be set. Before operating the pump, check the following points:
•
The floating switch must be installed in such a way that the level of the switch-off point and the
level of the switch-on point can be reached easily and with little effort. To check this, place the
pump in a container filled with water, carefully lift the float switch by hand and then lower it
again. While doing this, check whether the pump switches on or off.
•
Make sure that the distance between the floating switch head and the snap-in holder is not too
small. Proper operation cannot be guaranteed if the gap is too small.
•
When setting the floating switch, make sure that it does not touch the base before the pump
switches off.

Danger of running dry!
