Navigating with Xplova G5

Entering a Destination

•

Location

: allows you to select a destination by clicking on a

location on the Map Display. See “Selecting a Destination via a
Location on the Map” on page 63.

•

Tours

: allows you to choose a destination already set in Tours.

See “Selecting a Destination using the Tours Menu” on page 67.

•

Prev. Destinations

: allows you to choose a destination that you

have set previously. See “Selecting a Destination using Previous
Destinations” on page 66.

•

Home

: sets home as the destination and opens the Route Options

menu. See “Setting Route Options” on page 69.

Selecting a Destination via a Location on the Map

To select a destination via location:

In map mode, click

Destination

. The Enter Destination screen

opens

Click

Next

to open the second screen of the menu.

Click

Location

. The map display opens.

Pan and zoom to the area of the destination.

Click the destination location. A chequered flag icon appears to
indicate the chosen location and the closest address is displayed.

Click

Calculate

. The route options wizard begins. See “Setting

Route Options” on page 69 for details.
