GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
WARNING

preventing accidents.

replace, or service this equipment.

: Ultimate disposal of this product should be handled according to all
national laws and regulations.

: Incorrect installation of Xirrus Access Points may invalidate FCC, CE
mark, or other regulatory compliance approvals. Customers are responsible for any
legal violations from operation of un-approved equipment or incorrect installation.
WARNING
: Do not operate the Access Point near unshielded blasting caps or in an
explosive environment unless the device has been modified to be especially qualified
for such use.
CAUTION
: The liquid-tight adapters must be used on all input/output connections to
the Access Point where the installation is a non-hazardous location (and conduit is not
used).
POWER
WARNING
: Read the installation instructions before connecting the system to the
power source.
WARNING
: Installation of the equipment must comply with local and national
electrical codes.
WARNING
: This equipment must be externally grounded using a customer-supplied
ground wire before power is applied. Contact the appropriate electrical inspection
authority or an electrician if you are uncertain that suitable grounding is available.
WARNING
: Do not work on the system or connect or disconnect cables during periods
of lightning activity.
WARNING
: To reduce the risk of fire, use only No. 26 AWG or larger
telecommunication line cord.
CAUTION
: When the Access Point is installed outdoors or in a wet or damp location,
the AC branch circuit that is powering the Injector should be provided with ground
fault protection (GFCI), as required by Article 210 of the National Electrical Code
(NEC).
