7. CONTROLS AND PARTS FUNCTIONS

of the parking brake and V-belt.

1. Release button

Parking brake lever

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GEAR SELECTOR OPERATION

The transmission gear selector is located at the right side of the steering wheel The

transmission selector lever has four positions: H drive; L drive; Neutral; Reverse.

CAUTION

To change gears, stop the vehicle and with the engine idling, move the lever to the

desired gear. Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is

moving could cause transmission damage.

Always place the transmission in gear with the parking brake locked whenever the

vehicle is left unattended.

Maintaining shift linkage adjustment is important to assure proper transmission

function. Should you experience any shifting problem contact your dealer.
