Backup your Configuration
When you update the firmware on the Twin WAN Gateway, the default configuration
overwrites any settings that you previously entered into the Gateway. You will need to
save the configuration of the file to the Gateway. There are two ways to do this, the TFTP
utility and the HTTP user interface. This section covers only the TFTP utility, you can
learn how to update using the HTTP utility in the Admin Control section.
To save your Twin WAN Gateway Configuration to a file:
1.
Open the TFTP utility by double clicking on the TFTP executable file (tftp.exe)
2.
Enter the Gateways IP address (Default is: 192.168.1.1)
3.
Enter a file name that you would like to save the file as (Example: config-
file.bin).
4.
Press the Upload button and the file will be saved to the same directory as the
TFTP utility.
