Keeping the Printer

Clean

Push and raise
each separation
pawl to remove it
from the fusing unit.

3825/3225

2025

Clean each pawl by

wiping it with a
water-dampened
cloth.

You may need to use

a little force or a fin-
gernail to remove
any toner that contin-
ues to adhere to the
pawl. Never use any
fluid besides water to
clean the separation
pawls.

Replace each pawl by angling it slightly to insert it into a

slot and then pressing down to snap it in place.
