Keeping the Printer

Clean

3-17

Periodic Maintenance

Gently slide the clean-
ing guide (or a cotton
swab) back and forth to
clean the corona wire.

Caution: Clean only the transfer corona wire. Do not touch or clean

the separation corona wires beneath the protective plastic

extensions.

Carefully reinsert the transfer charger into the printer until
it is firmly in position.

Note: The front cover does not close completely if the transfer

charger is not installed properly.

Close the front cover.

Return the cleaning guide to the printer cabinet.
