Before you begin:
•
Verify the DocuColor 4 LP/CP printer has been configured for Novell print-
ing in Network Protocol Setup.
For more information about setting up the printer for IPX (Novell) print-
ing see the Administrator Guide.
•
Configure the Novell network and file server for handling DocuColor 4
LP/CP print jobs.
The file server should be configured with a print server and print connec-
tion for the DocuColor 4 LP/CP. For details, see the Administrator Guide
and your NetWare documentation.
•
Set up the IPX connection on the workstation.
NetWare protocols (NWLink IPX/SPX Compatible Transport) and NetWare
client services should already be installed on the Windows NT worksta-
tion.
To set up IPX (Novell) printing for Windows NT 4.0:
Double-click Network Neighborhood.
Double-click Entire Network.
Double-click NetWare or Compatible Network.
A list of NetWare servers is displayed.
Double-click the NetWare Tree or File Server on which the network
administrator defined a print connection for the DocuColor 4 LP/CP.
You may have to log in to the file server as a guest to see the print
connections.
