This guide is part of the set of DocuColor 4 LP/CP documentation that includes the fol-
lowing manuals for users and system administrators:
Setup Guide
This guide contains procedures for unpacking the printer/copier, confirm-
ing simple operations, troubleshooting and routine care of the printer/copier.
Administrator Guide
This guide explains basic configuration and administration of the DocuColor
4 LP/CP for the supported platforms and network environments. It also in-
cludes guidelines for setting up Windows NT
®
and NetWare servers to pro-
vide PCL and PostScript

printing services to clients.
User Guide (this manual)
This guide describes how to install software to enable users to print to the
DocuColor 4 LP/CP. Specifically, it describes installation of PCL and
PostScript
TM
printer/copier drivers, printer/copier description files, and other
user software provided on the DocuColor 4 LP/CP User Software CD. It also
explains how to connect each user to the network, and how to set print op-
tions and print to the DocuColor 4 LP/CP from Windows
®
and Mac OS com-
puters. Also, for DocuColor 4 CP, it explains basic copy functions and place-
ment of originals.
