OUTPUT CAPACITY
– The standard output tray will handle up to 200 sheets of
24 lb. Xerox Color Xpressions paper. Thicker papers will
reduce capacity of this tray
MULTI-SHEET INSERTER (MSI)
– MSI capacity is up to 50 sheets for Xerox Color
Xpressions 24 lb. paper. Capacity is less for thicker
stocks.
COPY QUALITY
– Color quality is subjective and will appear to vary under
different surrounding light conditions.
– Like other color reproduction processes, there will be
some variation in output quality over time.
– Copy quality is strongly influenced by paper surface
structure, texture and color. Key applications should be
printed on the DocuColor 40/30 Family of products using
representative customer paper and reviewed by the
customer.
DUPLEX COPYING
– The DocuColor 40/30 Family of products will auto-duplex
from the internal trays on papers up to 11”x17”.
– The Multi-Sheet Inserter cannot be used for auto-duplex.
Manual duplexing is available through the MSI.
COPY ALIGNMENT
– Image-to-paper placement can vary up to .08” (2 mm)
depending on paper, stock, machine setup, and other
factors.
– Front-to-back alignment for duplex can vary up to .16”
(4.1 mm).
IMAGEABLE AREA SIZE
– The maximum image area that can be scanned from the
document glass is 11.69” x 17”.
– DocuColor 40/30 software version 4.4 has an imageable
area in the copier mode of 11.69”

In the printer mode the imageable area increases to
11.69”

0.5% x 17.13”

0.5%. Additionally, the image
can be centered in the 18” direction of the paper to aid
back-to-front alignment of duplex images. This centering
operation can be performed by a Xerox Service
Representative.
