Using remote access to the printer
You can access the printer remotely from the client using one of
two methods:
•
telnet
•
Web-based user interface
Using telnet
You can access the printer controller remotely from any client
computer that supports the telnet protocol. To establish a telnet
connection, refer to your workstation documentation.
Once established a telnet connection, you can use most user
interface commands that do not require physical interaction with
the system such as loading media.
To log off the remote connection, enter
Quit Connection
or
q
.
Using the Web-based user interface
You can use a Web-based user interface to display information
about the printer and your jobs. The Web-based interface is
accessible through a Web browser on any client computer that
has network access to the printer.
