toner

Toner is a fine powdered substance
used in the printing process.  The
toner supply for the system is
contained inside the disposable toner
cartridge.

toner cartridge

The toner cartridge contains a
photosensitive “print drum” used in
the printing process.  The cartridge
is disposable.

troubleshooting

Troubleshooting refers to the process
of pin-pointing the cause of a printer
problem.  The method used here is to
step through a list of symptoms and
suggested remedies until the solution
is found.

twinax

Short for twinaxial cable.  A special
type of communications cable used to
connect to IBM AS/400 or System/36 and
System/38 systems.
