Disassembly

Caution

There are 2 securing nuts the screws go through that are not captured. These can fall out and get
lost when tipping the fuser assembly.

Caution

Hold the Halogen lamp by the end terminals.

DO NOT TOUCH

the lamp itself, this will damage it

and cause the fuser to malfunction.

Remove the 2 screws securing the Halogen lamp. Then remove the lamp from the heat roller as shown below.

Caution

When disassembling the fuser, note the orientation of the spring loaded stripper fingers (claws). If
reassembled improperly the claws will damage the heat roller causing the fuser to malfunction.

Remove the 4 screws securing the fuser cover and 2 screws securing the guide to disassemble the fuser.
