16. TEST OF DEVICE
Temperature exceeds maximum
Cause:
the safety sensor registered a temperature too hight for good performance of
a malfunction.
Soluition: don’t switch of the unit, let it cool off. In normal situations the unit should
be working after a maximum of 20 minutes. If this is not the case please check if
the temperature sensor is fastned at it’s place. If not, place it back. If the problem
remains contact the manufacturer for further help.
Temperature sensor malfunction
Cause:
temperature sensor is defect.
Soluition:
switch off the relevant ground fault breaker and make sure the sensor is
mounted correctly and is connected to output ‘sensor’ in the mainboard. If the pro-
blem remains call the manufacturer indicating the failure and request a new tempe-
rature sensor.
No communication with UI
Cause:
the communication between the mainboard and user interface broke down.
Soluition:
switch off the relevant ground fault breaker and make sure the connector
clicks into the mainboard and UI. Make sure that there are no visible damages to the
cable. If the problem remains call the manufacturer indicating the failure.
Internal malfunction
Cause:
an unknown internal error occures.
Soluition:
switch off the relevant ground fault breaker and call the manufacturer and
give them the error code: led 1, 2,3 and 4 of IR-button are blincking. The solution is to
replace the unit and glass panel.
Doorswitch doesn’t register the glass panel
Cause: Glass panel isn’t mounted properly, glass panel is broken or open.
Solution:
make sure the glass panel is properly placed into the frame and it makes
contact with the door switch. Also check the door switch and make sure the lever of
the switch isn’t bend. If the glass panel is broken call the manufacturer for a new
panel.
