The onscreen voltage indicator can be set up to match the actual voltage at the monitor, at the
top stage, at the camera while under load, or perhaps at the battery source.
All of these have slightly different
CALIBRATION
settings and test points for a truly accurate
indication on your battery status. This allows you the best possible run times without shortening
the life of your batteries or running out of power during a take.

Backlit keypad feature. The phosphorus infused rubber keypad will always have a slight glow in
the dark. This is to aid you for quick identification of the keys on the keypad. We have also added
a back light feature in each key that appears only when a key is pressed and stays on the length
of time you have programed the
MENU TIMEOUT
in the
SYSTEM MENU
.
Like all XCS PDL’s we recommend a 4-5 minute warm up before zeroing the PDL at the start of
your day, or anytime that you experience a large temperature fluctuation during the day, usually
50 degrees F.
