4.7 Cleaning the electrodes and the suit after training
Lay the suit on a flat surface (e.g. floor) and unfasten all the belts.
Disconnect and remove all the electrodes from the vest and the pant (18 pieces).
Disconnect and remove all the electrodes the pants.
Pull out the cable through the loops of the vest and pants. For the vest start at the top.
Unfasten the Velcro straps and remove all the wires progressing downwards.
After the cables are removed the suit can be washed using a gentle detergent and agitation
in a cold washing cycle without softener.
Roll up and store the cables carefully.
The electrodes can be disinfected using a non-granular disinfecting solution, e.g., 30/70%
alcohol and di-water.
4.8 Cables
The suit cable is manufactured by XBody Hungary LLC and is uniquely identified. It contains an NFC
chip which carries the same information as the labeling on the housing of the connector. It states the
type of the cable (KBS stands for the suit cable) and the date of manufacturing. The first two numbers
shows the day of the manufacturing, the following two numbers are the daily unique identifiers and
the last letter shows the year of manufacturing. To connect the Suit to an EMS machine the cable whip
shall be used.
