5. Select Easy Install from the drop-down menu at the top left (fig. 2.4). If necessary,
change the installation destination for the files in the Install Location box.
You can quit installation by clicking Quit (fig. 2.4). Also, if you previously ran the
XANTÉ Utilities Install program and want to remove the files installed at that time,
use the Uninstall option to remove them (fig. 2.4).
6. Click Install (fig. 2.4). A warning window indicates a search for particular
software on your system is about to begin (fig. 2.5). If you don’t have the
designated software, click SKIP to save search time. If you have some or all the
designated software, click Continue.
A search of your system can take up to several minutes. Be sure to allow ample time
for this to be completed.

7. Wait until the selected utility programs, PPD, and PDF(s) are installed. When
the Installation Was Successful window appears (fig. 2.6), click Quit. The
AdobePS Introduction window appears (fig. 2.7).
On most systems the AdobePS program automatically launches unless this version is
installed already. If not, open it manually by double-clicking AdobePS Installer in the
Printer Drivers: AdobePS 8.7.3: USEng (or appropriate language) folder.
